Gosh, guys I can’t believe I met her. I can’t believe I get to write a post with that as the title. I wasn’t expecting to meet her. To be honest, I was told too many times that I wouldn’t meet her that I started to believe it. Anyway, story time! So you all know how I got chosen, well they told us to meet under section W after the show ended. So we all went there. The people who were gonna meet NTB were there too, but they left before we did. Lauren was the lady who told us all what to do. She has long blonde curly hair, if you’re wondering. Anyway, so she told us all the rules; how we’re not supposed to take videos of the t-party room and how we only have like 10 minutes to take pictures of everything and then no more pictures once Tay comes out, and then of course that Tay can only sign one thing per group. So they took us into a little hallway that led to a room behind the stage. We passed by the dancers dressing room and we saw the band members and the crew, and finally we arrived in the t-party room. When you first walk into that room there’s a mini-hallway with some of her dresses from the Fearless Tour and the red dress she wore at the CMA awards and they all have picture frames next to them showing Taylor when she wore the outfit. It’s all so pretty. and then there’s the curtain thing with the fairy on it that says ‘T-party’. and you go inside and the room is tiny. It’s not at all the size I was expecting it to be. But it felt so familiar and comfortable since I had seen so many pictures of it. so Lauren told us all to hurry and take pictures of stuff and that the photobooth was going to close in 5 minutes. So we took pictures with the girls from my school, which happened to be the majority of the people in the t-party last night, coincidentally. I took some pictures of the decorations and then she told us all to find a place to be with our group and sit down. Then we all started chanting Taylor’s name because she was coming. She didn’t come for another 5 minutes, it felt so long and I was losing my voice. It was insane. Anyway, so she eventually came and she looked around and when she looked our way she made that surprised face she usually does when she wins awards and she pointed at us. haha. She’s such a cutie. So she came over to us with her arms outstretched and she gave my mom a hug first, then my sister and finally me. And while she was hugging my mom and sister I was getting up because I had been sitting on the floor. Anyway, so she comes up to give me a hug and I all of a sudden drop everything on the floor. I had my bag wide open and I was carrying my bag with the merch I bought sideways, so it all fell all over the place. Taylor was so down to earth that she just bent down, got on the floor and helped us all pick up my stuff. I was like “OH MY GOSH I’m so sorry! This is so surreal! I’m sorry” and she was telling me that it’s okay. so we picked up mostly everything rather quickly and then she told us how awesome she thinks our costumes were. she said “You guys are so creative! It’s from the Mean video! Chippy Cheddar’s!” and I was surprised that she remembered that because  we worked so hard on it and she told us that she loved how sparkly it was and my sister talked to her about how she loved the music video and Taylor was so sweet. She kept telling us nice things about it and that we looked amazing. She’s beautiful. So I told her that like four times throughout our conversation and she told me I was beautiful too and she said “thank you for saying that!” like she always does and that was just wonderful so I gave her another hug. Her hugs are amazing, by the way. I won’t be able to describe them well, but they’re so gentle yet strong. Like an old friend, you know. And they’re so comforting because she just hugs you tightly. Do you know what I mean? I can’t explain this, I don’t think anyone can. It’s just amazing. And she smells like a forest, I guess you could say. She wasn’t wearing Wonderstruck, oddly. She wore something else, it smelled like a mixture of flowers and wood. It was so earthy and natural. I was going to ask her what it was, but I was too amazed to think. Some of my things she picked up off the ground still smell faintly like her perfume. I want to remember it because I’ll associate it with my first time meeting her. So she told us she wanted to sign something for us since she saw all my merch that I had previously dropped on the floor. So I handed her my tour book and she asked me what my name was and I told it to her and spelled it out just in case. She told me it was cute and then she told me she was going to sign the rest of my stuff. So I let her sign my release week book  after that Lauren came and told her to hurry. Tay ignored her and then she told me she wanted to sign my Speak Now cd booklet that had been in my purse. I hesitated since Lauren was right there and I told Tay “Maybe we shouldn’t do this or we’ll get in trouble!” and she said it was okay and she signed it anyway. Then she asked us for more stuff to sign and I told her I didn’t have anything left for her to sign because I really didn’t. Anyway, I almost forgot to mention that she was wearing a black knit dress with a white thing near the hem of it, and her hair was up in a ponytail and she had on black flats with little bows on them. She was so pretty, guys. she wasn’t even wearing a lot of makeup, just red lipstick. Anyway, so she talked about our costume and then my sister talked to her about her clothes and their favorite places to shop and Tay said she got her dress at Anthropologie. She said she gets her stuff at all sorts of different places. I just kept interrupting. Anyway, then I was all like “I have a present for you!” and she was like “Really? You’re so nice!” and I was going to give it to her when Lauren showed up and told us we had to take a picture and hurry up. So we took a picture and I was so freaked out about time that I didn’t stand next to Tay. Oh well, I guess I will next time. At least it’s a nice picture. I don’t look so fantastic, but everyone else does.

so we took the picture and then Tay asked me about my present again. So I took it out of the bag and before I handed it to her I told her about Christie. I said “Tay, I have a friend named Christie and we both worked hard on this project for you, but she couldn’t be here since we didn’t have seats together so she wanted me to tell you she says hi.”, then I handed her the box and she told me Christie and I were awesome and that she wanted me to tell her she says hi back. :) Actually, in her words she said “Tell her I said hey!” :) So then I picked up the envelopes and told her “These messages are from my friends on tumblr, there’s 102 of them and they’re all for you because we love you. I know you know what tumblr is because of the blog that” and then I stopped for a certain reason and she nodded and said “I know about it.” so know you know that she probably knows about your blogs anyway! Alright, so she pointed to the jars and said “Those are beautiful!” and then she picked up some messages and put them back down, I don’t think she looked at them at that moment, but I don’t know. I told her the letters were from my best friends and she looked at Brittney’s envelope. She told me I did such an amazing job and she loved her present. She handed it to Lauren who told her to hurry up. Tay ignored her again and we talked about all the concerts I had been to in the past and how much of a fan I am. She asked me how long I’d been a fan and how many shows I had been to and I told her four years and three concerts in a row. I told her she means the world to me and more and that she’s such an amazing person. I thanked her for changing my life. She asked us where we’re from and my parents told her a little about Peru. Taylor listened to them like she cared, because she’s a very sweet and sincere person. I couldn’t believe I was standing next to her that entire time. It must have been at least 15 minutes. And then Lauren came back and Taylor told her she’d be with the next group in a minute. So I asked her one last question, the first thing that came to my mind and I said it all wrong and weird “Taylor I heard a rumor that you’re dating Joe” and right as I was asking “is it true?” she responded with a loud “NO!” all while she had a huge grin on her face. I giggled and I think she knew I knew she was lying and it was obvious. haha. To be honest, I don’t think I’ll ever forget her voice when she said that. Oh I love her talking voice, it’s so soothing and honest. I think it’s as beautiful as herself. I gave her a final hug and I told her I love her. She told us she loves us too and thanked us for coming and off she went.

So Lauren came back and told us that we can stay for a few more minutes until Tay decided to leave. So we ate pizza, brownies, and cookies and sat down to watch Valentine’s Day. Grant walked in soon after and started spritzing everyone with Wonderstruck. haha. We talked to him about how awesome he is and about how long he’s been playing guitar, etc. I was really excited plus my mind was on overload from all the things I was trying to remember about my experience with Taylor, therefore I don’t remember exactly what I said. He gave us each one guitar pick and I told him he’s my favorite, so we took a picture:

and then I sat down and listened to the conversations Tay was having with the others. You know, I was surprised that there was only one little kid in the t-party. Anyway, she mostly spoke of Hair and make-up tips with the others and she got some easy questions about what 13 means and who or what some songs are about. It was like listening to an interview. She spent like 5-7 minutes per group with everyone else and then she said goodbye and left the room. I asked Lauren if we could get a picture in the photobooth and she said yes, so we did so:

and then as I was exiting the room I knocked over one of the picture frames that show Taylor wearing the outfits. I knocked over the red Love Story one and thank god it did not break. So that was embarrassing too. After that they packed everyone who had been in the t-party into a tiny elevator and escorted us out of the building. It was 12:10-ish by then. I got home at 1 am. It all felt like a dream. I have more pictures guys, but they’ll be in my next post.

I’ll edit this post if I realize later that I forgot to tell you guys something. I think I covered all of it though.
