So as you guys know, I met Taylor for the second time today. It was so crazy and surreal, I was certainly not expecting to meet her when I first got to Park City this morning. I’ll just tell you guys how my day went. So last night I couldn’t sleep, I went to bed at about midnight and woke up like every hour after that until 5:30 when I decided that it would be best to go on here and see if anyone had already met Taylor here. It turned out that some people had, so I was just about certain that I would at least get to catch a glimpse of her today. I went to school and told everyone about Taylor being in Park City, except everyone except on girl seemed uninterested. I was still determined to go, so at 9:30 my dad checked me out of school and we headed home where I proceeded to change into 2 layers of pants, 3 pairs of socks under my best snow boots, 2 shirts, 2 sweaters, and the biggest (and ugliest) coat I had because nothing else would fit. Christie called me and we talked for a few minutes and then at 11 AM we headed out and we were on our way to see Taylor.

It was a pretty great drive to Park City except for I was so nervous, as usual. haha. I was trying to not get my hopes up too high. Christie and I were going to meet up at the Burger King, and at about 12:15, we did. After that we got lost in the city for maybe half an hour or forty-five minutes. My dad is the most stubborn person I know and he didn’t want to be there, so he was angry at me the entire time. We still laughed and had fun. Christie’s car almost got towed, but everything was okay. :) and then we went to Starbucks because of the free wifi, since we were lost. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go to that little town and not get lost. Seriously, I go there like 5 or 6 times a year and we always get lost even though it’s a small town. Anyway, so at Starbucks we decided that the best way to get to the MARC theater would be to take the shuttle and leave the car at a nearby festival parking lot. So we did, and my dad surprising let me go with Christie, while he stayed at Starbucks reading and drinking coffee. He doesn’t like Taylor much. Anyway, so we listened to Speak Now in Christie’s Car and we had so much fun getting to the theater. When we got to the theater there were a lot of people there. It was 1:20-something. So we were like 25 minutes early, but that was a good thing. We asked around and no one else was there for Taylor. So we asked a security guy when she was going to get there and he said that he heard a rumor that she was already there. I was sort of disappointing and at the point I thought we weren’t going to see her, let alone meet her. We decided to stick around and pretty soon we met another Taylor fan who was with her dad, her brother came back a few minutes later telling us that he found the private celebrity entrance and that there were a few girls with vogue magazines there. So the girl’s dad went and asked if it was okay if we joined them and the security guy said it was perfectly fine. So Christie, I, and the other girl and her family all went over to the fence along with the three other Taylor fans who were already there with magazines and posters for Taylor. We freaked out and wondered when she would get there, because by then it had already been confirmed to us that she was not in the building. After a few minutes the Kennedy’s showed up and we took pictures of them and cheered just a little. At about 2 PM we saw Paula so we all took pictures of her because we knew Taylor was coming. A few minutes later a big white car car showed up a few feet away from the entrance and Taylor came out of it! Everyone went nuts screaming and cheering. It was so crazy!

and then she got closer to everyone and everyone was shouting for her take a picture with them or to sign their magazines, including Christie and I. We were shaking and screaming like crazy. There is nothing like the feeling of meeting the person you admire the most, even the second time around. So she took pictures with a few people, including Christie(!) and then she stopped and started to talk, it got quiet, and she proceeded to say that we needed to go one at a time, then she asked, “Who’s next?” and I immediately raised my hand and said in a surprisingly quiet and steady voice, “can I get a picture with you?”, so she grabbed my camera, which I had been holding, and she took a picture while the security guy was like, “Wouldn’t it be better if I took it?”. She took the picture anyway and the she looked at my camera and was like “Woah, this is really zoomed in.”, and I was like “I’m sorry!”, she said it was okay and she un-zoomed it and took another one and looked at it. :) This time it was perfect! So I quickly shouted “I-LOVE-YOUR-NEW-HAIR!” Like a really loud run-on sentence, she made the funniest facial expression (sort of like a smirk), laughed, and then thanked me. She did that after signing something for someone else. Everyone was all huddled up trying to get to her first. It was so insane, but it’s a good thing there were only about five of us there. I told her she was pretty about a bajillion times while she signed things for everyone else and did I mentioned she gave me a hug when we took the picture? I think I might have forgotten that. It all went by so fast this time, but I think we were incredibly lucky. So anyway, Christie got Taylor to sign her Speak Now cd for her and I got Taylor to sign my poster for me. I think Christie got a picture of Taylor signing my poster for me and that makes me incredibly happy. So after Taylor met everyone she waved goodbye and we all shouted “Bye Taylor!” and Christie screamed in the funniest, most adorable way, “I love you!”. It was the most perfect moment, maybe even better than the t-party because it was so unexpected and in such a special place to me. I mean, I think you guys all know how much I adore Park City. I have so many wonderful childhood memories from there and I still love going so much, plus it was during one of the most popular film festivals and there was such a thrill in missing school to meet Taylor. It was sort of adventurous. And I got to hang out with just Christie, not with my dad tagging along. I mean, I didn’t think I would ever get to say that I hung out with one of my internet friends without the supervision of my parents. We did such crazy things and I’ll always remember this moment. Well, right after we met Taylor, we screamed like crazy people! When we got on the shuttle we were just giggling and squealing the entire time, and I think we must have said “We just met Taylor Swift!” like a dozen times. After that we got back to the parking lot and we were still shaking like crazy. I think the next time we meet Taylor, we should be together again because that was seriously one of the best moments of my life. I mean, I had someone to fangirl with! haha. Well, we got back to Starbucks, hugged goodbye, and my father was still angry so we went home. I had the biggest smile written on my face and I called everyone to tell them the good news. To think my so-called friend, Melisa, had just told me that morning that I would never meet Taylor today and that I was just a creepy stalker. I proved her wrong and I’m happier than ever. I wish every day could be as perfect as today. It was one crazy day!
